Dr Gill Rickard recently came out to my place, Easter Monday actually, to help treat my daughters polocrosse horse. He was very very unwell. I can not speak highly enough of Gill’s kindness and support of the entire process.

We ended up taking him to the Sydney Uni Equine Hospital where an ultrasound showed the issues and confirmed that taking the trip was the right decision, even though the outcome wasn’t what I’d hoped for. (more…)

South Coast Equine Veterinary Practice and Dr Gill Rickard and her team are not only based in one of the most idyllic settings for humans and horses, they are also a professionally run and managed vet centre where I know as a client that my horse is getting the very best attention and in my case the very best chance of getting my mares in foal. Dr Gill Rickard has that steely eye for detail and timing and it makes a remarkable difference when we are talking about Veterinary work. My “tricky to get in foal mare” is happily in foal as a result of Dr Gill Rickard.
